Survey data is typically used for evaluating condition of assets in a non-invasive, safe and cost-effective manner.

We provide asset condition data from equipment normally inaccessible, unsafe, or very costly to reach by traditional access methods e.g. scaffolding, or high-risk activity (working at heights, abseil, or confined space) and thereby remotely view imagery thereby cost effectively evaluate, scope, and plan maintenance schedules, replacement, improved, integrity, and safety.

We can deploy both visible, close up, and by request infrared “FLIR” technologies in real time to expose asset condition data normally not seen by the naked eye.

We capture and document condition assessment data and photographic evidence for equipment integrity and compliance programs.

We deliver high definition digital video imagery, digital SLR and infrared imagery to document deficiencies and assist with maintenance work scope planning.

We capture, extract and report relevant data efficiently, and cost effectively through our integrity management system.

Efficient access to survey data enables fast and effective intervention, and repair action prioritization decisions.

Completing the cycle (while the team is still in the field) we capture assess evaluate and report providing substantial cost savings and productivity gains.

Experience

• DroneTech-NZ director Malcolm Kelsen has a 35-year career in asset integrity, industrial inspection, maintenance, leadership and project management, predominantly gained in the petrochemical industry. He is also the Chairman of the New Zealand Certification Board for Inspection Personnel.
• Malcolm has comprehensive knowledge of CLIENT assets and this expertise enables him to provide un-paralleled proficiency, and intimate understating of assessment and evaluation of such assets.
• Malcolm is a certified Welding and Pressure Equipment Inspector and an IANZ signatory (Boilers, Pressure Equipment and pipelines).
• He is a NZ CAA Part 101/102 certified UAV Pilot.
• His skills include an ability to see through the details to the fundamental issues at the heart of a problem and provide subject matter expertise solutions.
• He is a certified and experienced project manager, with experience in small, medium and large projects.
